- An MDC government will resuscitate this collapsed economy from its source, the supply side agriculture and, mining leading to availability of raw materials at reasonable prices.
- An MDC government will ensure industries work to up hold good corporate standards ensuring zero tolerance on corruption and graft.
- An MDC will ensure development of national skills, the participation of women in the development of or economy and participation of all stakeholders.
- An MDC government will craft policies that are consistent with normal international practices and those that boost confidence and do not scare investors.
- An MDC government will develop and maintain tax systems consistent with international best practices and those that ensure the development of our country.
- An MDC government will support Small to Medium Enterprises (SMEs) together with formal industries so as to create self-employment and broaden the job market.
