Education is key to Zimbabwe’s future

An MDC government will thrive to rebuild the education sector of our country and to restore its status as a shining beacon in the region and beyond.An MDC government believes only a well motivated and dedicated work force is the key to a new beginning in the education sector and will work on restoring confidence in the education and teaching profession by creating conditions suitable to curb the brain draining currently caused by poor education and human resources policy.

An MDC will ensure free and compulsory primary education for our children.

An MDC government will focus on improving the quality through capacity building through strengthening of and teaching science and mathematics, the use of Information, communication and technology, infrastructure development funding education and insistence on relevant of curriculum.
