Hundreds of MDC Harare province Youth Assembly members will on Saturday converge at Ruben Chizungu shopping centre in Epworth, Harare for a youth rally that will be addressed by the local MP, Hon. Eliah Jembere, the Youth Assembly national and Harare province leadership.

Speakers at the rally will touch on a number of topical issues which include the party’s position regarding the new draft Constitution.  The final draft Constitution was completed last month and the country is now preparing to hold a referendum next month.

The completion of the new Constitution will lead to the holding of free, fair and credible elections next year.

The MDC National Council last week met in Harare and endorsed the people-driven draft Constitution.

The speakers will also brief the youths on the party’s position on job creation, economic revival and other issues affecting the youths.

The rally starts at 10am.
